FUNraiser!

The fundraiser was an amazing success. From showing your genitals, to the band's cake walk, to the date auction, to the spin the bottle games, to the silent art auction, to the food eating contest it was all tons of FUN and raised lots of money. We couldn't have done it without all of our amazing guests. THANKS FOR CUMMING!

How Art Superstars Cope With Rejection

The Joanna... Once Upon A Time October of 2008

A live guerrilla performance at an art opening at the Joanna, a venue which had previously rejected Performance Art Lab's request to have a show there. Performance Art Lab arrived at the venue by limo, in glamorous clothing. After a brief, staged, papparazzied red carpet entrance, the collective then striped down to reveal shirts that read "YOU WOULDN'T LET US HAVE A SHOW HERE". After five uncomfortable minutes the collective left the venue to return with shirts that declared that P.A.L. was "OVER IT AND READY TO DRINK FREE BEER"

***The Hip Scene*** ((((((so rad))))))

The Hipster Scum is a performance about "the culture of cool" that dominates the American counterculture. It consisted of various artists dressed and acting as stereotypical hipsters. We dressed in all white to designate ourselves as archetypal hipsters rather than actual hipsters. The performance resulted in the disapproval of our appearance from the general hipster population.
